It wasn't easy, but the Six Nations Chiefs stretched their winning streak to eight games with an 8-5 win over the Brooklin Redmen in Whitby Wednesday. Mike Poulin was sensational in net for the Redmen but couldn't deliver a win under an onslaught of 59 shots from the Chiefs.
Seven different players scored for Six Nations with Craig Point the only Chief to get a pair of goals. Shawn Williams scored twice and added an assist to lead Brooklin.
Brooklin is right back in action Thursday, heading to Brampton to face the Excelsiors. Six Nations' next game is next Tuesday at home when Brooklin comes to town.
