Wilson returns to Kodiaks in deal with Lakers

Aaron Wilson is going home. After spending the 2014 season with the Peterborough Lakers, Wilson is going back to the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks. The Lakers have traded Wilson to KW for a fifth round pick in the 2016 MSL draft.

In an oddity, the result will be Wilson playing on both teams with the player for whom he was traded, Davide DiRuscio. The Lakers sent the goalie to KW for this season in return for getting Wilson last year. Now that Wilson is going back to the Kodiaks the two will continue to be teammates.

Wilson scored 22 goals and 24 assists for Peterborough last summer, making him their second-leading goal scorer and third in points. He was third in the league with 80 points in 2013 for KW.
