The Peterborough Lakers announce the signing and return of two local terrific
defenders, Chris White and Kyle Sorensen to solidify the Laker defense for the rest of the
2013 MSL season.
The Peterborough Laker’s defense has been greatly augmnented by the signing of local Peterborough boys who are also very strong defensive players. Both Chris White and Kyle Sorensen have agreed to contract terms with Laker GM , Jamie Batley for the rest of the 2013 MSL season.
Chris White has been the former captain of the Buffalo Bandits in the NLL. Chris has also previously been named the top defender in the MSL. Kyle Sorensen is the present captain of the Washington Stealth in the NLL. Both are rugged hard nosed defenders and have been vital parts on many Laker Mann Cup championship teams.
“These two players add experience, leadership, communication and great skill to our Laker defense,” states Laker GM Jamie Batley. "Both players will be in the Laker line-up in Brooklin Wednesday night and back here against Six Nations on Thursday night."
