The rematch is set.
The Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs and Victoria Shamrocks will begin their best-of-seven Mann Cup championship series at 8pm Friday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
After knocking off the Peterborough Lakers Sunday in Game 7 to capture its second-straight Major Series Lacrosse championship, they earned the right to host the national championship series and chance to renew the rivalry with the Shamrocks.
The Shamrocks earned a return trip to the Mann Cup after defeating the Maple Ridge Burrards 4-1 in its best-of-seven Western Lacrosse Association championship series.
Last year in Victoria, the Chiefs captured the Mann Cup, beating the Shamrocks in six games.
